Linocut 1932. Original size: 10.0 x 9.5cm. Beaumont travelled extensively in the Alps, at first making etchings, but finally favouring the linocut as a medium in which to work. This is one of his earlier most successful prints, with bridge and mountain range echoing each other in shape, and likewise the leaves of the trees and the mountains in the mid-ground.
